LINMEN workshop – Cultural Safety
Developing respectful practices in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and organisations: A cultural respect and safety workshop
This two day workshop facilitated through an Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal partnership by Sharon Gollan and Kathleen Stacey will provide participants with cultural safety training to identify and respond to racism and develop strategies to safely and respectfully work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians in health and education contexts.
When: Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 November 2018
Time: 9am to 4.30pm (morning tea and lunch provided)
Where: The University of Melbourne (Room 461, Level 4 North Wing, Arts West Building, Medical Rd)
Cost: $455 (ex GST) for LINMEN or CATSINaM members; $555 (ex GST for non-members)
