This two day workshop is based on CATSINaM’s successful mentoring training package and will provide nursing and midwifery educators with the skills to become an effective mentor for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and staff. The workshop introduces practices associated with culturally safe mentoring and addresses additional challenges in the workplace and learning environment related to racism and cultural safety.
This workshop is being hosted by the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Western Sydney University. We thank them for their support.
When: Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 December 2018
Time: 9am to 4.30pm each day (morning tea and lunch provided)
Location: Room 33, Ground Floor, Building EA, Parramatta South Campus,Western Sydney University
Cost: $300 (GST excl) for LINMEN and CATSINaM members, $400 (GST excl) for non-members.
